Technology/Animation Residencies
Puppetry in Practice embraces the use of technology as an integral part of our art education programs. PIP artists work with teachers to integrate new media techniques with existing curriculum maps in English Language Arts, Social Studies, English as a Second Language and other content areas as requested.

Claymation
This tremendously popular art form combines aspects of computer animation,
film and craft techniques to produce short to feature length films which
can be made in the classroom with minimal setup and the right tools.

movies, students explore Victorian style mechanical animations such as
flipdisks, rotoscopes and phenikistokopes. Students also create flipbooks,
storyboards and narratives leading to the productions of animated short
films.
