Success as a writer can come early to students who feel the sense of accomplishment at having written and created their first book. Children create stories that literally unfold through the creation of one-of-a- kind books. They explore words on many levels and expand their expression of ideas into tactile forms. Students learn a variety of ways to animate the printed word through pop-up mechanisms and animation devices.
